เครื่องบินโดยสาร C919 ที่ผลิตโดยจีนเป็นลำแรก ออกบินเป็นวันแรก(5พ.ค.60) เครื่องบิน C919 ผลิตโดย Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) สามารถบรรทุกผู้โดยสารได้ 174 คน มีพิสัยการบินสูงสุดมากกว่า 5,000 กิโลเมตร ซึ่งเทียบเท่ากับเครื่องบินโบอิ้ง 737 และ แอร์บัส เอ 320 ในปัจจุบันได้รับการสั่งจองจากหลายบริษัทการบินทั่วโลก ส่งผลให้ขึ้นแท่นเป็นหนึ่งในผู้ผลิตรายที่ 4 ของโลก รองจากสหรัฐอเมริกา ยุโรป และรัสเซีย โดยมีแผนให้บริการเชิงพาณิชย์กับสายการบินไชน่า อีสเทิร์น ในปี 2562 โดยการสร้างเครื่องบินโดยสารขนาดใหญ่ได้เองของจีนนั้น สอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์ของประธานาธิบดีสี จิ้นผิง ที่ต้องการขับเคลื่อนให้จีนเข้าสู่ประเทศเศรษฐกิจพัฒนาแล้ว และเป็นความก้าวหน้าตามยุทธศาสตร์ ‘Made in China 2025’ ที่ให้ความสำคัญกับการผลิตอากาศยาน โดยจะเป็นอย่างไรไปดูกัน!
